The ideal candidate must be a hands-on in Perl, JavaScript, SVN, Ajax, JQuery and other SDLC practices. Every aspect of Perl programming knowledge is essential including but not limited to – OO Perl paradigm programming & design, Perl design patterns & best practices and working exposure to various Perl CPAN modules. The candidate must be very strong in Perl data structures, core modules and debugging. Unix development platform is strongly preferred. The candidate should be familiar with forking, IPC, sockets and various shell commands. The candidate should be able to write automate test scripts to validate the code developed using various Test modules in Perl.

SAP Basis Administrator

This is to fill in for someone while they are on medical leave. .

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for the daily operations of a highly available SAP installation. The individual will be providing 24 x 7 on-call support.

Experience with SAP running on UNIX platforms

Experience with SAP Security a plus\

Familiarity with Oracle a plus

SAP installation, configuration, or upgrade experience a plus

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Key responsibilities include:

· Monitor SAP Netweaver components running on 4 P6/AIX application servers and 70 Citrix servers to insure availability and proactively manage.

· Manage and perform kernel upgrades on an as needed basis.

· Manage client copies and client administration.

· Proactive performance tuning & risk mitigation.

· Make recommendations for new best practices and perform implementations.

· Manage and make decisions based on experience on SAP transporting and STMS configuration.

· Rapid & courteous support.

· Familiarity with job scheduling.

· Manage and create security configurations for 1500+ users.

· Must maintain a good attendance record.

Position: Systems Administrator

Location : San Francisco, CA

The Systems Administrator will perform some of the following day to day activities:

UC4 management, Ticket dispatch, Call handling and Dispatch, responding to server alarms in SCOM and Patrol.

This position will also learn and perform documented procedures for some of the following technologies:

Windows Server, UNIX Servers, Linux Servers, Data Protection, Storage and related technologies or processes such as SOX, NERC/CIP, SCCM, SCOM, ELM, CCM, ITIM, and TSM.

The shift is up to 12 hours long and can occur during the day or night hours.

Shift coverage can also occur on reserved holidays.

This team is a 24x7 real time operations team.

Candidate must be available to cover on-call duties which may be called on short notice and must be able to work alone.
