Senior JAVA Developer

Client: Thomson

Long Term Contract

Location: Dexter, MI

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver components for internal applications, primarily the EMS & FLASH applications and Web Services for external products and websites
Complete unit testing for Java components
Analyze and/or create business requirements, documentation and technical specifications in conjunction with MIS Business Analysts and our internal customers.
Lead project development teams

Skills:

Top three skills:

1. Java: 6-8 years of experience

2. JEE and EJB experience

3. Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts

· Expert-level Java skills and design experience, including significant knowledge of core libraries and common design patterns (6 - 8 years)

· JEE experience EJB 2 and EJB 3experience XML and Web Services (SOAP, WSDL) experience

· Solid experience using OO and JEE design patterns and software best practices

· Proven leadership skills with a track record of mentoring teammates and ability to set project goals and delegate tasks

· Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts including ability to work with DBAs to develop schemas and DB code

· Development experience using Swing JBoss experience

Additional Experience Preferred

· Sun Java Certification

· Familiarity with the Eclipse IDE

· Crystal Reports/Business Objects experience

· Delphi coding experience C#

· Linux experience

Java Developer with Oracle ATG

Job Description:

Client needs a Java/Oracle ATG Developer.

Analyze, design and develop systems solutions for business problems.

Program, test, implement, upgrade, document, maintain, enhance and support software systems.

Required:

· 7 years of overall IT experience - web based technology

· 5-7 years with JAVA J2EE

· Spring, Struts, and/or Hibernate

· Relational database design and development using SQL, DB2, etc.

· 2 + years in developing using Oracle ATG Web Commerce 9.1 or greater, within the B2C commerce module

· Provide detailed design documentation for solutions

· WebSphere Application Server

· JSP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JQuery

· 1 + years of UML diagramming a plus

· Tivoli Access Manager (TAM) application development for enterprise Single Sign On (eSSO) and TDS synchronization using TDI scripts
