QA Developer/Engineer

Quality Control of new product development and existing features
enhancements - Provides highly accurate work and ensures products are
delivered by assigned deadlines - Ability to troubleshoot issues in
fast paced environment with accuracy and detailed analysis Experience:
- Minimum of three years experience in a QA environment - Strong
knowledge of LAMP environment - Experience with automated testing
platforms including selenium - Experience with version control systems
including SVN, GIT. - Experience with shell scripting and familiar
with continuous integration - Experience with Agile development is a
plus - Ability to setup testing environments. - Excellent grammar,
proof reading, and project management skills- Ability to quickly learn
and understand complex web products and translate functional issues
concisely to software development team.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year College
or university is desired.

QA Engineer

Ensure QA group practices and procedures are followed for all software
releases.

With input from senior QA and Technology management, set QA software
release priorities.

Coordinate production escalation defect process/reporting to ensure
timely correction of customer's software problems and issues.

Identify and report to the development team all bugs assigned to each
developer for their review and updates/corrections as necessary.

Manage the resolution and reporting of defects access the Engineering,
Product Management and Operations groups.

At least 5 years in the role of QA/Team lead/ Senior QA Engineer.

Bachelors Degree – Computer Science

Deep technical and backend knowledge

QA automation experience, not just manual

Knowledge of QA methodologies, Test planning, Project planning,
Diverse testing approaches, Automated testing and tools

In depth knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle Processes

QA Engineer Server Side

* Creation, maintenance, and execution of both blackbox and whitebox
tests.

* Creation/evolution of QA infrastructure, processes, tools,
harnesses, environments, etc.

* Scripting/automation

* Developing JUnit tests in Java

* 2+ years QA, development or performance engineering experience

* 1+ years scripting experience required

* 1+ years hands-on UNIX / Linux experience for Application Server
infrastructures. Includes installation, performance assessment of
applications, WAR file installation, Tomcat configuration, n-tier
application server architectures

* Ability to use and develop tests for automated test tools/processes

* Previous experience in wireless data applications a strong plus

* Good knowledge/experience of Oracle DB.

* Scripting languages: Unix shell, Perl, Awk, Python, TCL, etc.

* Web interface tools (e.g. cgi, html, etc)

* System operation, monitoring, tuning

* Linux/Redhat and/or UNIX mandatory

* Nice to have familiarity with TCP/IP network operations

* HTTP protocols, clients and servers

* Must have experience with server-side or backend/API testing

* Must be capable and willing to perform the entire range of QA
activities, from high level planning to lowest level test execution.

* Must have ability to thrive in a fast pace, dynamic startup
environment.

* B.S. or equivalent experience
