Title:      Quality Assurance Testing Lead

Essential Functions of the Job:

· Communicate (verbal and written) with business, development, and senior management on the progress of the Release Period project goals, objectives, and testing efforts.

· Oversee test activities which include: design, develop and execute test strategies/plans; debug and troubleshoot; perform impact and gap analysis; monitor and instruct test resources on proper procedures to ensure team compliance, status reporting to Manager on development projects, coordinate issue resolution, defect tracking and defect triage activities.

· Create and review test plans and cases ensuring alignment with standards.

· Verify the availability of the QA environment for testing.

· Prepare and report metrics.

· Ensure that all system tests are successfully completed and documented and all problems are resolved.

· Support all quality initiatives that are implemented during each phase of the system development life cycle.

· Support in the development of quality assurance and testing policies, standards and procedures.

· Initiate Risk management and escalation.

· Lead and coordinates defect triage meetings.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

· Minimum 5 years experience in IT Quality Assurance and Testing.

· Experience and Functional Knowledge in PS HRMS with core HR module

· Good knowledge of the People HCM 9.0 or above.

· Extensive experience with functional test execution.

· Extensive experience designing test cases

· Excellent experience in client-facing roles within blue chip organizations

· Knowledge of PeopleSoft App Designer (a strong plus).

· Is accountable for the review of all key QA deliverables: Test Plan, Test Cases, Traceability Matrix, Status Reports, and Test Completion Report.

· Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts is mandatory.

· Good knowledge of Software Quality Assurance methodology is mandatory.
