Description: The objective of this subcontract is to provide experienced quality assurance program support for Luminant Fossil Generation Fleet. This work is to provide program support services where the products to be generated by the services are subject to control by established client program controls and review/approval processes. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be expected to work with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Safety Environmental Compliance, and Quality Assurance personnel and all levels of management in the performance of Assessment and Corrective Action Program implementation.

Key Roles & Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned. Directly or through others, the incumbent will:

• The Subcontractor shall provide the required experienced technical and program personnel with appropriate education and/or experience to support implementation of the corrective action and assessment program processes. The following activities are typical of items that a Quality Assurance Engineer is expected to perform, all of which are performed in accordance with client procedures and processes:

• Lead activities associated with planning, performance, and reporting Independent Assessments

• Perform causal analysis of problems identified as being adverse to quality for activities/processes used to implement QA program processes.

• Provide coaching/mentoring of management and technical support personnel on the implementation of key QA program elements such as Training, Procurement, Engineering Design, and Software Quality Assurance.

• Subcontractor staff shall have as a minimum a BA/BS plus 8 years of overall technical experience.
