[Outsource:59116] Urgent S.DataStage(ETL Lead) Need in OH, Rate: $63/hr


POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide the definitive technical solutions to the development,
maintenance, and enhancement of business applications, providing
specialized technical or business knowledge to projects to integrate SAP
and Non SAP systems using DataStage (InfoSphere). Identify causes and
implementing solutions to business problems in a multifunctional
project, assessing and communicating issues of technology impact on the
business. They also apply a broad knowledge of various technical
functions to accurately anticipate organizational impacts. They share
responsibility with other team members to ensure on-time product delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strong DataStage technology skills required to provide architecture
and design solutions in the areas of Build and Governance.
- Strong leadership skills to manage a team of developers.
- Knowledge of ETL development using InfoSphere-DataStage as the tool set.
- Working knowledge in RDBMS like iSeries(AS400), DB2, Oracle, TeraData.
- Working knowledge with DataStage integration with WebServices.
- Define best practice for integration with SAP system using DataStage.
- Knowledge of data warehousing architecture, including modeling needed
to support it.
- In-depth knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle with a strong
emphasis on the following: Engagement, Analysis, Design, Development and
Deployment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in leading team of 10+ ETL Developers.
- Knowledge of network architectures and systems performance consideration.
- Working level knowledge of software development, systems life cycle
methodologies; rapid application development techniques preferred.
- Proven track record in workflow, application functionality enhancements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to
express complex technical concepts in business terms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
- Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills, ability to work well on
cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks.
- Perform or integrate work at a high level within this job family,
working at an in-depth level within a technical or business area.
- Under the guidance of the manager, collaborate with company customers,
staff members, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to define detailed
customer requirements and system interfaces, assess available
technologies, and develop and present solutions.
- Provide technical consulting support on projects or system issues.
- Develop business relationships and integrate activities with other IT
departments to ensure successful implementation and support of project
efforts.
- Participate with other IT members, customers, and other stakeholders
in new product reviews, tests, and pilots.
- Collect and analyze business requirements for large, multifunctional
projects.
- Perform feasibility studies, translating requirements into an
appropriate design, identify conflicting business practices and
integration issues, suggesting alternative solutions.
- Foster and maintain good relationships with customers and IT
colleagues to meet expected customer service levels.
