Specifically this work will include but not be limited to the following:

1. A Business Intelligence (BI) Health Check of the current/proposed SAP/BusinessObjectsTM (BO) BI Release R4.0 and HRMS SAP Netweaver BW/BI v7 environment (including BEx and Portal reporting functionality);

2. A Migration Assessment and validation to BI 4.0 from the XI 3.1, the XI 2.0 reporting environments; and

3. To make recommendations for the SAP/BO BI R4.0 based on the environments created, sized and configured as well as perform an assessment and make recommendations related to potential long-range integration and/or migration efforts for the transition from the HRMS SAP Netweaver BW/BI v7 environment (including BEx and Portal reporting functionality) to the SAP/BO BI R4.0 environment for the ETS division of DES. Examples of applications supported include the SAP Business Warehouse and the Results through Performance Measures (RPM) Application.

The selected consultant is expected to deliver practical feedback and recommendations to the DES/ETS team and stakeholders to help us meet the goal of ensuring that our SAP/BO BI environment is functioni,ally, technically and architecturally optimized for our current and future business needs.

Scope of Work

To assist us in this endeavor, the Contractor shall perform the following activities:

A. Review the SAP BO BI 4.0 and HRMS SAP Netweaver BW/BI v7 environment with changes (including BEx and Portal reporting functionality) in order to assess the current architecture design and then provide detailed validation/recommendations against the existing set-up for deployment of a SAP BO BI 4.0 platform that is designed and configured to meet current and future Business Intelligence needs for WA State.

B. Review and assess the current SAP BO XI R2 and R3.1 environments with changes in order to make a recommendation and provide a migration strategy document that details if the newly created environments do in fact combine content, users and security into a single SAP BO BI 4.0 environment. This will include identifying risks and mitigation strategies for the period between contract engagement and completion of the project.

C. Review the hardware infrastructure in order to recommend any possible design changes to what has already been formulated and to determine if the configuration modifications already made for SAP BO BI 4.0 platform are sufficient. And as such, verify that the configuration, as established, is optimized for maximum performance.

D. Explain what value the OLAP Analysis tool brings and compare features and functionality to Web Intelligence tool.

E. Review data selection practices used for report and pick list values to recommend possible improvements in the SAP BO BI 4.0 environment.

Assist in defining the differences between Row Level Security universes, as well as Crystal Reports with universes. Then upon review of what is presently established to make recommendations moving forward.

· iLog is an IBM Rules Engine Platform running on WebSphere/Oracle

Requirements:

· Must have Windows, Java and JavaScript

· Must be familiar with IBM BPM 7.5 and later

· Must be familiar with ILog 7.1 or IBM ODM 7.5 and later

· A J2EE developer with solid Websphere experience, Oracle

knowledge, and Ant build scripts should apply

· Experience with Filenet, ILog, ILog JRules, and Lombardi a plus

· Candidates should have a consultative style and solid

experience working with other developers and contractors

• Designs, installs, and maintains Cisco telecommunication and local area network hardware, software and data communications; performs analysis, diagnostics and problem resolution.

• Accountable for administration of network firewall security; provides installation support for networks LAN/WAN, BGP, EIGRP, HSRP, OSPF, MPLS (QoS), and Site-to-Site VPN.

• Manage Cisco equipment including ASA, Routers, Supervisors, VoIP, Wireless, Switches, and more… Riverbed experience is a plus.
