SAP Payroll Tax Associate
Cincinnati, OH
Perm or Long Term contract.
The Payroll Tax Team is responsible for handling full-cycle client payroll activities including monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, taxes, and third party file feeds.
The team is highly integrated with the Payroll and Technical Teams.
This position is responsible for all aspects of providing quality services for external clients including:
Contacting and assisting clients in the process of obtaining information in support of payroll production with regards to tax related issues, responding to client questions and concerns, verifying totals and delivering quality customer service.
Research and resolve client tax issues, and holding responsibility for management and reconciliation of tax filings.
This position requires some overtime, especially during end-of-quarter and year-end calendar periods.

Payroll, Tax and Third-Party interfaces.
Duties (include but are not limited to)
• Contacts clients daily (if necessary) to obtain payroll tax data, which may be affected by special payments, tax allocations and other miscellaneous changes.
• Responsible for tax notice resolution including staying abreast of the payroll processing system and any changes in wage and tax laws, and corresponds with local, federal and state agencies on behalf of our clients in problem situations.
• Responsible for periodic/month/ quarter/year end reporting, W2s and W2cs.
• Coordinates and manages team processes and initiatives in order to satisfy client service agreements. Continually evaluates and improves work processes to achieve performance goals of the team.
• Builds strong client relationships by maintaining strong communications and exercising detailed client knowledge to facilitate the highest quality service for clients.
• Maintains and reports statistics related to objectives and provides recommendation of efficiency to the Operations Services Team Manager.
• Ensure production support receives current and accurate tax rate Productivity: Manages a fair workload, volunteers for additional work, prioritizes tasks, develops good work procedures, manages time well, and handles information flow.
Education and Experience:
• Associate's Degree or the equivalent combination of experience and education.
• American Payroll Association progress toward or certification is a plus!
• In-depth functional experience with taxes including multi-state and multi-locale tax calculations and processing, reconciliations, periodic, monthly, quarterly and year end reporting, W2s, management and reconciliation of tax filings, etc.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with HRIS database, preferably SAP. (PeopleSoft and/or Oracle are helpful).
Skills:
• Basic general knowledge of Payroll and Payroll Taxes.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, diagnose and resolve basic to complex issues affecting service delivery.
• Oral and written communication skills. Ability to interact with internal and external clients at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to respond promptly, thoughtfully and effectively to changing work environments, changing priorities and new situations.
• Ability to quickly adapt to the variable environment of a start-up or rapidly growing organization.
• Experience with SAP payroll system and query functionality is highly desired.
• Knowledge of Master Tax and Empower software is highly desired.
MS SQL Developer
Location: Orlando, FL
Duration: 6 Months
Job Details:
• SQL development experience on MS SQL Server 2005 and MS SQL Server 2008 with strong command of the SQL language.
• knowledge of SQL best practices, including designing for performance optimization
• Evaluates, designs and maintains database objects according to specifications or business requirements, writing T-SQL scripts for tables, views, data manipulation, and stored procedure creation & modification.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate these into and technical specifications
• Ability to work with a diverse project team, including Business Analysts, and Project Managers
• Performs testing of modifications and enhancements to ensure data integrity and the ability to performance tune database objects.
• Works with minimal supervision.
• Relies on broad experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
.NET Lead
Location: Orlando, FL

DESCRIPTION
• Experience with ASP.NET / VB.NET
• Experience working with SQL Server (2005/2008 preferred)
• Solid understanding of object-orientated programming (OOP) and computer science foundations, such as memory management and low-level algorithm performance.
• Deep knowledge of the .NET3.5 / 4.0 Framework, including Visual Studio 2008, VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET.
• Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices.
• Ability to design and optimize SQL Server 2008 stored procedures.
• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
• Candidate should be self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills. Mentoring of junior developers.
