DESCRIPTION:

- The scope of this role includes ensuring that all Network and Voice Services meet customer expectations relative to client satisfaction and cost.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The qualified candidate should have high-level project managment experience.
• Responsibility will include performing wired and wireless network needs assessment, network design, equipment selection, RF coverage modeling (in the cases of WLAN), deployment migration planning, quote assembly, drawing creation, and final proposal assembly.
• Responsible for scheduling projects, vendors, delivery /installation of equipment, capital equipment and facilities.
• Engineer will need to simultaneously manage multiple projects to meet all customer requirements related to infrastructure and Voice/Data needs.
• Responsible for extensive documentation and creation of As-Built packages containing the Job Scope Plan, Test Plan, and detailed Visio drawings.
• Provide network and voice support for the remote site LAN/WAN/telecom projects for North America.
• Perform configuration and Implementation for LAN, WAN, and VoIP equipment.
• Engineer LAN/WAN/VoIP solutions for new growth at Monsanto locations.
• Coordinate LAN/WAN/telecom projects for remote sites with other Monsanto IT teams.
• Perform technical troubleshooting of routing issues, IP addressing problems, etc. for end users and server teams.
• Perform IOS upgrades, Configuration and Implementation of Cisco Routers, Switches and Wireless devices, and VoIP solutions.
• Implementation & troubleshooting of WAN circuits and hardware (MPLS, Frame Relay, Point to Point Public VPN).
• Providing second level troubleshooting of the remote site network.
