Technical Support for DBMS Environments
Provide technical support and perform Database Administration for all development and production databases on multiple hardware platforms. Design and Build Database Environments

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

- Oracle certification is preferred and must have expert level Oracle knowledge and experience.

Develop project charter / project scope and obtaining buy-in from project stakeholders
Understanding project interdependencies across their service or project and to account for those dependencies in planning
Update and provide input to the overall master project roadmaps
Identify or require skill-set and competencies to ensure that the project needs will be met and securing of such project resources based on project plan schedule

Project Execution and Control
Manage and report project schedule including critical path status, impacts and dependencies
Scope change management
 Pro-actively address risks & issues, evaluating impact on critical path (if any), and developing / implementing counter measures to prevent reoccurrence
Ensuring that the resources assigned to the service or a to a specific project are fully utilized according to the pre-defined allocation


Project Closure
Facilitating project “Lessons Learned” sessions

Project Communication
Facilitate project status meetings with internal team and project stakeholders on a daily basis that includes preparation of a formal meeting agenda, review of project schedule / tasks,discussion of project issues / risks, and documentation of formal meeting minutes / action items
Develop project status reports and other required artifacts (e.g., progress curves) and report to PMT Group Lead
Escalating major risks and issues to management and / or to the usiness stakeholders in a timely manner


Management and Practice Building
Foster open communication within the teams being managed and otivate these teams through individual and team recognition on a onsistent basis
Quickly mitigate team conflict and communication issues
Pro-actively suggesting areas for improvement in internal rocesses and provide possible solutions
Keep project teams aware of relevant program / project related nformation including program schedule, organizational nformation, etc.
 

 

Position2 :      Project  Manager. Tier 2 Process Support

 

Tier 2 Process Support - + (Yes this is a PM spot also)
· Be responsible for the success of Tier 2 Support
· Oversee process improvements within Tier 2
· Be responsible for improvements within Tier 2 based on KPI/SLA reporting
· Work closely with TCS counterpart to ensure success of any improvements that have been identified
· Participate in standard meetings in support of process
· Coordinate with TCS counterpart for the following:
· Ensure staff comply with process
· Evaluate and improve process

Application Support/ Incident Coordinator Group Management
· Coordinate with TCS counterpart for the following:
· Manage resource requirements for staff
· Develop performance reviews for staff
· Set goals and objectives for teams
· Perform general management administration Duty Manager
· Respond to Critical Incidents escalated by Operations, Applications, or Technical teams
· Ensure adequate technical resources are engaged in problem solving for Critical Incidents
· Review and Approve Incident Outage verbiage
· Conduct vendor escalations, as necessary, to resolve critical incidents
· Act as escalation focal for Upper Management Regulatory Compliance
· Respond to audit requests
· Ensure compliance with daily and quarterly JSOX controls
· Review and modify JSOX controls in accordance with established processes

Operational Reporting
· Ensure Daily Incident reports are produced by teams
· Be responsible for reviewing and approving SLA Reports Communication
· Serve as the communication channel from TCS counterpart into Service Management Team and Group Manager of Application Group
· Serve as the point of escalation from TCS counterpart into Group Manager of Application Group

Budget and Resource Management
· Be responsible for resource requests into Service Teams/QA Team, especially for Problem Management
· Be responsible for forecasting of resource and coordination with NBS Service Manager/QA Manager/Resource Manager for Application Development, BA or QA resources
· Be responsible to work with NBS Service Manager/QA Manger/Resource Manager to set Priority on Problem management/Incident Management work, especially where Tier 3, Application Development, BA or QA resources are required
· Be responsible for budget/resource consumption of TCS resource, escalating to Resource Manager/Group Manager where applicable
 

 

Position3:Technical Proj. Manager (Database Migration)

 

Description:

Technical Project Manager Requirements - Duration is 6months+
Experience with large scale development and database related projects
Ability to work with technical team members and extract deliverables
driving impact analysis and design meetings
Ability to interpret business requirements and coordinate with technical
team to outline technical design
Ability to communicate technical impact to business team members and manage
scope/requirements accordingly

Optional:
Experience with database upgrade/migration projects
Experience working with infrastructure teams on application upgrades/migrations
Senior PM who has managed large Workflow systems world-wide preferred. IT
Service Manager (ITSM) a plus but not required
Strong communication skills - Verbal and Written able to use Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio etc...
