Responsibility –
•    Manage day to day activities and business processes ensuring proactive support
•    This role will contribute to aspects of the delivery lifecycle in performance prototyping, capacity modeling, performance driven design, profiling, performance testing, availability management, and troubleshooting.
•    Provides architecture and application design and development guidance that ensures scalability and minimizes performance issues.
•    This role is comfortable operating on highly visible assignments, can dive deep into designs, application code, and frameworks, and ultimately provide clear insight and direction to business and IT stakeholders.
•    Utilizes diagnostic and monitoring tools to detect, isolate, and resolve performance issues throughout the technology stack.
•    Understand the existing system by working with developers & prepare an inventory list for all the components which are getting migrated
•    Provide proactive suggestions/solutions to architect team on the fitment of existing components in new system
•    Effective collaboration with infrastructure teams, application development teams, testing and release teams
•    Organizes and document process changes and RICE object changes
•    Establishing best practice processes and procedures within own work area
•    Analyze existing systems/tools and procedures, and when applicable leverage or integrate into the new database
•    Responsibilities include requirements gathering, functional design, development review, unit/ system/ integration testing, post production support, user training, etc


Work experience & skills :
    
•    Minimum 7-8  years prior Information Technology experience required
-       Should be able to perform as a lead analyst/architect  and interact with other developers and work with Clients.
•    Plans and manages deliverables for any of the following areas:performance diagnostic, capacity planning, performance architecture design, performance tuning, performance monitoring, or software development.
•    Debug issues within the test environment;  Distill volumes of data, analyzes performance results, and diagnoses performance problems.
•    Clearly characterize system performance to stakeholders.
•    Conduct performance monitoring and integrated operational processes.
•    Drive performance test planning, setup, and execution.
•    Conduct performance test scripting and test data management.
•    Responsible for capacity estimating, modeling, and planning.
•    Work with cross functional software development teams to plan for and manage demand from a capacity and infrastructure perspective.
•    Conduct application and architecture code profiling.
•    Conduct Infrastructure and application performance tuning.
•    Responsible for application development, bug fixes, and re-factoring with hands-on language experience.
•    Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
•    Hands on experience in Oracle 11i and R12.
•    Strong PL/ SQL and TOAD experience
•    Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
•    Experience of migration project would be an added advantage
•    Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, Maintains strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations
•    Self learner
•    Experience in modeling / configuration tools like Selectica, IBM Sterling, Big machines is a plus.
•    Excellent  verbal and written  communication skills

·          Strong understanding of Manufacturing business processes
