Strong experience in the following required:
Extensive Database experience using SQL Server 2008.
Highly proficient in T-SQL including writing queries, stored procedures, functions and triggers.
Experience in Performance Tuning,
Installation and Maintenance of SQL Servers,
Backup/Recovery Strategy, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of SQL Server and Windows monitoring tools, (Profiler, Performance Monitor).
Knowledge of the complete software development life cycle (SDLC).
Security setup: database, active directory and windows level

Good to have:
SOX compliance experience

Summary

This position focuses on software configuration and change management issues associated with product releases. This includes systems and release planning, estimation, execution, implementation and ongoing support. This individual works closely with the development and SQA teams to define and implement procedures for software version control and release throughout the product life cycle.
