Primary responsibilities include database design, development, implementation and maintenance for clinical trials. The Clinical Database Analyst will be the primary architect of the database(s) for the projects for which they are assigned, working closely with the Clinical Research Associate (CRA) for the project. In addition to database design and development, the Clinical Database Analyst is responsible for assuring the integrity and accuracy of data collected in the database. This includes developing and maintaining forms for electronic data entry.

Primary Responsibilities: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plans, coordinates and performs database design, development and implementation for assigned clinical trials projects. Ensures that data security and integrity is maintained.

• Develops electronic data entry forms and/or data entry screens for the database. Programs case report forms (CRFs) for validation of the data prior to its entering the database.

• Provides tools for data conversion of existing data into new database management systems, as required.

• Develops edit checks and/or queries to validate (''clean up'') data that has been entered into the database.

• Develops, documents and implements validation test plans for various database components, including the electronic case report forms, and any queries or stored procedures written for the database.

• Defines and implements standard summary reports in graphical and/or tabular format. Assists and educates users in running and interpreting results from these reports.

• Assists statisticians and other programmers in understanding the database when they are generating specialized reports from the database. Assist in testing the validity of the data on the specialized reports.

• Maintains data management plan documentation of each database including, but not limited to, Database Diagram, Data Dictionary, Data Entry, Post-Data Entry, and CRF specifications.

Skills/Education Required:

• Strong knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) or other data retrieval languages is required.

• Strong knowledge of clinical trial/data management systems (e.g. Clindex, Clintrial, Phase Forward, Oracle Clinical) is required.

• Strong knowledge of relational database management systems (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server) is a plus.

• Working knowledge of electronic data capture (EDC) is a plus.

• Working knowledge of electronic data entry systems, specifically Teleform software, is a plus.

• Familiarity or knowledge of Visual Basic or PowerBuilder is a plus.

• Working knowledge in database design and database design software. Familiarity with a database design software such as ERWin, PowerDesigner, Visio, or System Architect is a plus.

• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems.

• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated capability of working on multiple projects at one time.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Strong problem solving skills.

• Demonstrated project management skills.

Work Experience:

• B.S., M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Statistics, Life Sciences or related field and minimum of 3 years of relevant experience supporting clinical trials. Equivalent education or experience will be considered.

, OR Software and Services Group's Graphics Performance Analyzers team
is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to be a
member of an Agile software development team supporting the Graphics
Performance Analyzers product development. Candidates should have a
strong background in Windows, C/C++/C# programming/debugging and
scripting languages like Perl/Python. A background in game development
or other graphics application development is desired. Understanding of
and experience with the DirectX or OpenGL APIs is required.
Familiarity with Agile, Test Driven Development, and Continuous
Integration are also required. Behavioral traits for this position
include: self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication
skills.

You will work as an integral member of the Agile software team with a
focus on validating the quality and interoperability of new features.
This will involve the development of automated unit/feature tests,

The ability to work directly with peers to design, write, and review

Software Quality Assurance Analyst

* Contribute to test planning, scheduling, and managing test resources

* Define test cases and create integration and system test scripts and
configuration test questionnaires from requirement documents and
development tickets

* Create configuration documentation concurrent with each software
release

* Execute functional tests and author significant revisions to test
materials as necessary through the development phases

* Maintains defect report and update reports following regression
testing

* Understand the functional design of software products / suites being
tested and their underlying technologies to facilitate authoring
tests, diagnosing system issues, and ensuring that tests accurately
address required business functionality. Clarifies ambiguous areas
with technical teams

* Apply basic industry and functional area knowledge related to the
software product being tested to determine whether system components
meet specifications

* Develops specified testing deliverables over the lifecycle of the
project

* Interpret development specifications to maintain revision notes
after each deployment

Required Skills:

* 1+ years of software QA experience

Provide project management for new SAP Installation and SAP Upgrades
Perform installations, upgrades and patch applications to SAP software products, including R/3 (ECC 5.0 and 6.0), BW, SCM, SRM, XI, Enterprise Portals, SAP GRC (Virsa) and other SAP components
Work in a mixed server environment covering Linux, Unix and Wintel servers using Oracle, DB2, SAP DB, and SQL Server databases
Work collaboratively with the SAP Functional teams from the business and regional support hubs (local IT team) and management team on projects, issues and enhancements
Interface with cross functional technical teams (Infrastructure and database teams) and business unit IT staff while providing leadership and guidance for SAP platform with regard to patching, monitoring, capacity planning
Performance/resource management to include SAP monitoring, availability configuration, application tuning, prevention and application optimization activities

*** Specialized/Practical Knowledge: 5+ years of direct SAP Basis administration.
The candidate must be proficient in the administration and maintenance of multiple SAP systems as well as have sufficient knowledge of concepts to allow for system landscape design. Administration will include performing installations, upgrades and providing on-going maintenance on various SAP Business package applications.
Experience with installing/upgrading/configuring SAP Solution Manager 7.0/7.1 including system monitoring, root cause analysis, change control management and other functionality.
Extensive system copy experience required
OS/DB migration experience desired.
SAP certified associate for Netweaver 7 with oracle/MSS/DB2 required.
