Responsibilities:

· Technical expert centered around a technology , technologies or portfolio of applications
· Designing and implementing Information Technology solutions
Desired Skills
· 84 months experience architecting technical solutions utilizing Oracle relational database technologies. Experience should reflect candidate's ability to provision appropriate Oracle options, features, configurations, and tools to meet needs of computerized applications. Specific areas of experience are expected to include (but are not limited to): Database Instance & Multi-Schema configurations, Security, High Availability/Disaster Recovery features (RAC, Data Guard), Backup/Recovery (RMAN, Flashback), Disk configurations (including ASM, partitioning, raw filesystems), Oracle Enterprise Mgr/Grid Control, Oracle Network setup including Dedicated and Shared server configurations.
· 84 months experience participating in project system development life cycle activities to collect and organize data and database infrastructure requirements including data modeling (logical and physical), database design, hardware/software, high availability/disaster recovery, and post implementation monitoring and troubleshooting.
· 84 months demonstrated experience as database administrator of Oracle Relational databases utilizing software releases 9, 10, 11, and/or 12. Experience must include but not limited to performance of the following: software installation, database instance creation, schema design (data modeling) and creation (DDL), tablespace management, backup and recovery, data management utilities (data pump, sql loader, etc.), sql tuning skills, and SQL/Pl-SQL skills.
· 60 months demonstrated experience installing, configuring, and utilizing the Oracle Enterprise Manager product (versions 10, 11, and/or 12) to support the administration and monitoring of Oracle databases and overall Oracle infrastructure.
· 84 months demonstrated experience working in HP-Unix. Experience should include a solid working knowledge of operating system principles, the ability to understand and work with system/server administration staff on database and application-related issues, and strong knowledge of shell-scripting techniques to support automation of database tasks.
· 36 months demonstrated experience supporting Oracle interfaces for computer applications utilizing Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 or higher.
· 36 months demonstrated experience supporting Oracle interfaces for computer applications utilizing (Accenture) Foundation for Cooperative Processing.
· 36 months demonstrated experience supporting Oracle interfaces for computer applications utilizing (Informatica) Identity Resolution Search Serve
· 36 months demonstrated data processing experience working in public/government sector IT applications dealing with the delivery of government assistance or entitlements.
Job Description
· Review project/application/infrastructure initiatives and requirements
· Design and Develop Oracle RDBMS solutions, options, and configurations
· Advise on future applicability & suitability of architected solutions
· Research Industry database trends for suitability to support systems.
· Develop and enforce database & design standards
· Database instance creation, monitoring, and tuning
· Schema design (data modeling), development and implementation
· Design, Implement, and enforce database security
· Hardware/Software Infrastructure support (Oracle rdbms, server o/s); Interface with Server administrators and other technical support staff
· Database Backup and Recovery procedures (Oracle RMAN, utilities, etc.)
· Disk & Tablespace utilization, monitoring, and reorganization;
· Data Management support (data refresh processes, application data fixes, Data load and/or conversion support)
· Troubleshooting and problem resolution; Utilize Oracle Support as needed. Provide Oncall/after hour support as needed.
· SQL (Application) monitoring, tuning and advice
· SQL & PL/SQL expertise; create/ troubleshoot Oracle-based procedures.
· Utilize Oracle Enterprise Mgr product to facilitate db admin tasks.
· Database software installs, tools, and configuration of Oracle and database support products
