Position Description: Experience Level: 4 year degree and 7+ years experience
THIS IS A POWERBUILDER POSITION
ADDITIONAL INFO BELOW :
Analyze business requirements and develop system specification based on business objectives.
Develop and maintain application interfaces using PowerBuilder technologies. Approx 3 - 6 years working with Powerbuilder, specifically Powerbuilder 10.x and above.
Good hands on experience working with the Oracle 9i/10g (on scale of 1-5; at least 3). Have Good Knowledge of Stored Procedures and Triggers.
Should be well versed with performance tuning from the Powerbuilder code perspective and Database perspective Experience working with Unix and Shell Scripting (Solaris, AIX, or HP) (on scale of 1-5; at least 1) Must be well conversant with the Change management process; hands on experience with any code configuration tool like ClearCase.
Must have excellent debugging/problem solving skills and should be able to pick up and understand the requirements quickly.
Must be well versant with testing processes Provide timely status report to management team Good written and verbal communication skills Must be a self starter and able to work on a list of objectives without supervision.
Should be able do code reviews and explain clearly the requirement and code attached to the requirement
