This is a 3^rd shift position working with the Service Operations Team based in Chicago.  Hours are Midnight – 8am. 

This role will need to be able to support any of the 7 days a week, we have 3 different schedules, 5 day Mon – Fri, 4 day Sunday-Wednesday, 4 day Wednesday – Saturday. The candidate will work either of those and can be asked to switch with proper notification.

 

Interviews will be conducted by the  3^rd shift team a will be held between  5am – 8am.

 

 

Required Experience

• Experience with shell scripting (ksh, csh, bash, Perl, Ruby, ssh)
•  System Administration experience in a 24x7-production environment dealing with 500+ servers
• Skilled working with Operations systems running windows, redhat version 5 +, Solaris version 10+
• Experience with SANs (Storage Area Networks)
• Consistently demonstrates a high degree of reliability, flexibility, and attention to detail
• Experienced in operating computer equipment and communication networks
• Has a customer centric posture
• knowledge of securities industry and financial markets plus the understanding of customer needs.
• Excellent problem solving skills ability to recognize routine technical and operational problems
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
• ITIL Foundation V3 certified a plus

Position requires working 3^rd shift hours and possible weekends, but possible to be moved to another shift.
