Position: Database Warehouse

Our client, a major financial services firm in NYC has the following need.
This is a long term project.
Job Description
Our client is seeking a bright, motivated data warehouse developer to join their team. The individual will have the opportunity to work directly with business personnel across the firm including Finance, Operations, Accounting, and Risk Management, and will gain exposure to various financial products, procedures, and alternative investment strategies and concepts.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities will include the following:
· Take projects through the full data warehousing cycle from business analysis, to data modeling, development of ETL and report development
· Work closely with different groups across the firm including Finance, Operations, Accounting, and Risk Management
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate would possess the following:
· Strong written and verbal communication abilities
· 6 – 12 years of relevant experience in Kimball Data Warehousing Methodology, Relational Databases and ETL (Informatica is desirable)
· Proficiency in Excel, VBA, and SQL Query Composition
· Inter-personal skills, analytical proficiency, and high-level of professionalism
· Relevant experience in a financial services environment preferable
