• Minimum 2 years of Java/J2EE development experience
• Experience with the 1.4.2 jdk as well as 1.5
• Proven experience with java technologies: Servlet, JSP, EJB, JMS, and JDBC.
• Proven experience with application servers including: Websphere, JBoss, and Weblogic
• Proven experience with web containers including: Tomcat
• Knowledge of the Eclipse framework for development
• Working Knowledge of open source, 3rd party utilities such as Jakarta commons, Spring Framework, Hibernate
• Proven experience in development of web services using SOAP, WSDL, and XML
• Knowledge of J-Unit testing
• Knowledge of Ant and Maven build structures
• Knowledge and experience in applying Gang of Four and Enterprise Application Architecture design patterns
• SQL Experience
• Source Control Experience using CVS or SVN
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Great Attitude and willingness to work as a member of a team
• Familiar with automated test tools such as J-Meter
• Familiar with Use Case development and formal QA processes
• UML Experience
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization
• DB2 Experience
• JMX Experience a plus
