Project Description:

NPWs will be working on an NDA project code named Encore, an enhanced messaging and number management solution downloaded initially to Android smart phones and available from the web and select Tablet mobile devices. Phase 1.1 of Encore requires development of a user interface in HTML 5 for cross-device portability.

 

Job Description:

Encore Tablet Software Engineer will port the Encore WUI experience to Android and Apple iPAD tablet devices. Need proven ability to create cross browser, cross platform web applications optimized for low-bandwidth and limited resources. Extensive architecture, design and software engineering experience required utilizing AJAX, HTML 5, JavaScript Frameworks (JQuery desired) and various Synch technologies within native device environments.

 

High proficiency with CSS is required (CSS3 desired). Leveraging CSPDs CUE framework, the software engineer will integrate with data service layer constructs requiring experience with REST, JSON, SOAP, XML and web service programming interfaces. Require experience with server-side web application frameworks (J2EE, Grails, Rails). All work will be consistent with timeline imperatives defined by CSPD technical management. Intermediate messaging platform experience a plus.

 

Experience with Requisite Pro, sequencing & interaction diagramming with excellent communication skills also desired.
