Great opportunity for a talented Front End User Interface Designer/Developer to join a rapidly growing, stable Fortune 100 company in North Charlotte on a potential long term contract (at least 6 months). This role is ideal for the IT professional who has hands on Web Development experience and is considered an SME in UI/UX.:
• Deliver high-fidelity prototypes for new user interfaces and interactions for various online projects.
• Deliver concept and vision prototypes, applying rapid ideation and prototyping skills.
• Build prototypes based on approved requirements and wireframes which includes "production ready" cross-browser tested, standards based HTML/CSS.
• Support/Coach development teams during development of UI.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Financial ,experience is a must. Capital Markets HIGHLY DESIRED
• Experience with client facing site is preferred Skills required HTML4/HTML5, CSS2/CSS3, Flex, JavaScript, Java, Actionscript, YUI, jQuery, jQuery Mobile
• Experience with graphics asset production using Adobe Creative Suite 8.
• Familiarity with UI class frameworks on iOS, Android SDK, and BlackBerry OS.
• JavaScript expert including knowledge of object oriented programming using JavaScript and common JavaScript libraries including one or more of jQuery, Ext JS, Dojo Toolkit.
• Ability to transform complex layouts into pixel-perfect front-end HTML/CSS/JS templates 7.
• Experience developing rich user interfaces with Flash and Actionscript is a plus.
