"What we are looking for is a GUI designer with at least 5 years of experience. They must have skills to design a multi-tenant web-based user interface. Highly desired would be experience with HTML5 that will run across browsers (Windows and Mac) and on an iPad."
EMC User Interface Design experience is a plus.
Uses skills, abilities and experiences to drive industry competitive products to market through skillful interactions with senior executives. Designs system level architecture and is seen as a visionary, providing input to product direction and strategy.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Works on unusually complex problems and provides solutions, which are highly innovative.
• Determines requirements and functional specifications for entire system, under only consultative direction.
• Actively seeks customer input, may take responsibility for customer situations, (internal and external customers).
• Uses independent judgment to accomplish goals and objectives.
• Acts as prime consultant on critical projects that impact long term organizational goals and objectives.
• Has insight into industry trends and communicates vision to guide organizational and company strategy.
• Sphere of influence likely to involve people outside of company.
SKILLS:
• Problem solving skills.
• General knowledge and application of engineering concepts.
• Understanding of business environment.
• Ability to lead, motivate and direct a workgroup.
• Communication skills.
• Mentoring/Coaching skills.
