SQL Developer  

Location: Schaumburg, IL (only locals)

Duration: 1 year

 

Looking for someone who has an extensive background in SQL Development. The ideal candidate must be able to have a general understanding in the areas of database and system design with exposure to development methodologies with a solid background in the SQL Server architecture. The ideal candidate must have experience in SQL Server tools like Management studio, profiler, and etc. The candidate must provide maintenance of existing stored procedures and function and design, develop and maintain the tables and indexes.

 

Additional requirements:

 

• 5 years of SQL Server 2005 / 2008 development
• Knowledge of Relation database concepts
• Experience in SQL Server tools like Management studio, profiler etc
• Excellent skills on writing complex stored procedures and functions, database triggers
• Performance tuning
• Database administration will be a plus
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues
• Experience in database administration like backup / restore of database;
• Experience in c# will be a plus but not required
• Experience in SSAS / SSIS / MDX cubs is a major plus
• Ability to work effectively with, and support the needs of project team members, SQA and the customer support department.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Creative problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently without much guidance
