Work Location : Culver City , CA
Duration : 7 Months+

Note : Locals Preferred , who can attend In-Person Interview

Skills: Ideally a Scrum Master or has applied SCRUM methodology as well as waterfall methodology

Experience in managing Salesforce.com projects desired

Education:    Bachelor's degree, SCRUM Master desired 7-10  years experience in program and project management and/or experience in a PMO

 

Duties:        

Initiate and Manage multiple projects that are geared towards building a new infrastructure for Consumer Support Organization

In collaboration with the Management team, responsible for planning future projects and for creating and maintaining Fiscal year project plan and ensure Project Checkpoint planning

Track and report project progress and status per PMO format and guidelines.

Initiates escalation of issues as appropriate to ensure timely resolution.

Manage scope, issues, constraints, risks, assumptions and change control process throughout the project life cycle.

Understand decision making processes and cost/time/quality impacts to a project.

Ensure and encourage cross-functional team engagement and alignment.

Establish project success criteria and determine the degree to which the project achieved objectives.

Coordinate the successful migration to production (technical and business processes) and the development of an on-going support plan.

Responsible for project teams adherence to and compliance with Standards, processes and tools (i.e. the Symantec project methodology, Scrum, etc.).

Contribute key project lessons learned to improve internal project management processes.

Assist the management team in identifying gaps or follow-on efforts relative to overall continuous improvement within the Symantec project methodology, functional units, etc. Be a champion for Scrum methodology.

Has a passion for program and project management, planning and communication.

Comfortable working in a global environment and in various time zones.

Able to use innovative ideas to solve problems in a cost effective manner.

Requires minimal management supervision.
