Network Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors network performance, reliability and scalability; evaluates network, product and service behaviors; troubleshoots and resolves network and security problems. Identifies, develops and implements performance improvement features and procedures.
Works with Network Planning to manage growth plans by monitoring network performance and identifying future capacity needs. Coordinates the maintenance and modification of network systems. Consult with users in devising network requirements, analyzing project proposals, recommending most favorable networking approaches, and expanding network systems design. Represents network engineering on cross-functional product/project teams. Provides guidance and technical support for LAN/WAN technologies. security of IT and network systems.
 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

CCIE Certification is required
CCNP Required
5 - 8 years experience supporting a large LAN/WAN network infrastructure
Experience implementing network solutions, creating diagrams and documentation
Knowledge of TCPIP protocols, switching and routing techniques
Experience engineering and implementing VPN and DNS solutions
Experience implementing and configuring application load balancing and firewalls
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical abilities and professional office experience needed
