Job title: Sr. Java Developer
Duration: 6-12 month contract

Must-haves
-EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION (verbal and written)
-4 Year degree in an IT related field or related job experience
-Minimum 4 years experience in application development utilizing JAVA, Spring, SQL, Web Services, Tomcat web servers.
-Experience with HR systems a plus
-Experience in retail environment.
-Ability to adapt to a fast paced international project.
-Must be able to command the attention and respect of highly technical associates.
-Ability to navigate technical issues and evaluate risk.
-Demonstrated track record of successful system and project implementations.
-Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize and manage a variety of complex projects and activities.
-Strong problem solving, analysis, design and testing skills.
Day-to-Day
The Java Developer will function as an integral member of the team working on complex international POS systems. The associate will be responsible for application design/analysis, development of project plans, coding, testing, and documentation of all code. The associate will also interface with customers to assist in the project process. Additionally, the Java Developer will be responsible to provide development support for international POS systems.
