With Our Client located in Cary, NC is looking for a J2EE Software Engineer to work for a 6 months contracting position, Extension very likely.

 

Job Description:

 

Requirements  

·                        Minimum 5 years experience with  Java, J2EE, Spring and Struts MVC frameworks, JSP, Web Services,  Oracle  relational database.

·                        In-depth knowledge of client/server computer environment and the ability to design solutions which make the best use of architecture.  

·                        Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent field strongly desired.

·                        Ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously.

·                        Preferred: IBM MQ messaging experience.

·                        Must have command of the English language

 

Responsibilities

·                        Perform complex analysis, design, programming and modifications of computer programs for software.  

·                        Write detailed specifications, write code, complete programming, testing and debugging of applications.     

·                        Document forms, procedures and other documentation needed for the installation and maintenance of application programs.     

·                        May be required to be on-call.    

·                        Set high standards for others to follow.      

·                        Ability to explain concepts with technical and non-technical staff.     

·                        Works effectively with all co-workers; team player.      

·                        Communicates effectively and in a professional manner 

·                        May provide technical and project leadership and assist in training less experienced analysts/programmers   

·                        Assigned work involves broad range of complex design and programming.  Provides input to technology strategy.  

·                        Ability to meet heavy deadlines and may be subject to heavy workloads. 

·                         Other duties as assigned.
