ROLE: SQL Technical Analyst
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: Market
REQUIRED SKILLS: SQL, data conversion experience. Exp. On BODI / BODS mandatory.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to get the Functional knowledge on the system very quickly
Ability to understand the Data Model of Source and Target systems, and comprehend the normalization techniques used to identify the best approach to migrate the data
Ability to identify the data element mapping between the source and target based on the Client interactions and document them in the agreed format
Ability to comprehend the Configuration nature of Source and the target system, and understand the need to map the source and target configurations
Analyze legacy data and identify problems and issues with respect to the new system
Work with the Project Subject Matter Experts to develop business rules for resolving data issues, and develop conversion rules to transform the data for the new system
Define the Business Rules for Data Validation, Cleansing and Transformation.
Develop/maintain utility programs/scripts to automate common pre/post conversion tasks
Review Customer feedback on first iteration conversion and determine next steps
Experience converting and moving large quantities of data from legacy applications to new applications.
