Principal - Software Engineer in Test •Develop automated tests/
infrastructure in partnership with developers for continuous
integration testing of 802.11 and Bluetooth Products •Provide thorough
Analysis of test results/defects of software, hardware and embedded
firmware and be able to help determine root cause and provide
debugging information to developers. •Isolate defects, help developers
reproduce errors, and ensure that defects are fixed •Participate
throughout the design and development process, characterizing
features, developing tests • Participate in the constant improvement
of our Continuous Integration practices and Test Automation. • Gain a
technical and functional understanding of our product and become part
of our ongoing feature and enhancement development effort. Job
Requirements Knowledge •Object Oriented Design •Operating Systems and
Drivers - Windows, Linux, Embedded Linux, VxWorks, WinCE, WinMobile
•Network Protocols - TCP/IP •Scripting Languages - Perl, Tcl/TK
•Certification Programs - WHQL, WiFi and CCX a plus. •Wireless
Networking Standards - 802.11 and Bluetooth a plus. •MIMO and SISO,
Rate Adaptation, Roaming, Current consumption, VoIP •BlueTooth
coexistence testing. Skills/Abilities •Excellent Analytical and
Troubleshooting skills •Strong Network Protocol Analysis Skills
•Problem replication, isolation and resolution. •Excellent
communication skills - written and verbal. •Software development and
script writing skills Education/Experience •MSEE or MSCS •9 Years
Experience •Object Oriented Development Experience •Network System
Test Experience •Wireless Testing •Automated Test Infrastructure
development
