Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Must have exp with Agile and Investment Sector Exp
Minimum Requirements:
KEYS: BA, current/documented work in Agile environment, experience in investment sector with trade processing, settlement, reconciliation... FIX protocol BIG plus
6+ years Business Analysis/Solution Design experience
Current, documented and clear expertise in Agile/Scrum Methodology
Expertise in Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) a plus
Expertise in defining and designing a minimal viable product for the marketplace
Knowledge of Institutional trade processing (including Electronic Trade Confirmation, Matching, Straight Through Processing (STP), and current industry initiatives)
Experience with Sell Side (Broker) and Buy Side (IM) middle-office post trade processing
Working knowledge of Debt, Equity and Derivatives securities and cross-border processing requirements a plus
Experience with XML, SWIFT messages, FIX protocol, and/or data modeling a plus
Experience with User Interface Design, Information Architecture, Adobe InDesign and MS VISIO a plus
Exposure to different software development lifecycles
Familiarity with project management, software development and testing practices
Excellent comm skills expected

Description:
Works with the team to decompose requirements into stories, uncover associated workflows, data and business rules as well as define acceptance criteria based on real world scenarios
Analyzes enhancement requests and bugs to determine solutions that do not negatively impact other product features
Partners with delivery team to create solutions that meet business needs
Applies detailed knowledge of design principles and user needs to ensure that user interfaces are of high quality, extremely usable, perform well and are consistent across product line
Conducts design walkthroughs, demos and functionality feedback sessions with internal and external stakeholders
Determines and produces just-enough documentation for the functionality being delivered
Coordinates and communicates regularly with the cross functional team in order to provide status updates and to highlight project risks
Fosters a culture of dedication, teamwork, problem solving, and continuous improvement
Mentors/trains other functional and cross-functional team members on Agile Methodology
Moves project forward by stepping into other functional roles (testing, iteration management, etc…) when applicable
Partners with internal stakeholders such as Integration and Documentation on operational readiness activities by sharing their subject matter expertise on features and functions and uncovering operational requirements
