Job title: Testing Engineer with Telecom Exp
Duration - 6months+
City - Raleigh, NC

Must Have:
- Requires a BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent plus a minimum of 7+ years of testing or related experience.
- LTE network, Diameter protocol, IP Networking (layer 2/layer 3 routing), and Networking and Protocol troubleshooting (wireshark, tcpdump, etc).
- (5-7yrs) Manual Testing exp
- Ability to work with personal computers including word processors, spreadsheets, and databases.

Plus:
- Telecommunications experience preferred.
- TCP/SCTP, and Linux scripting (Shell/PERL) experience a strong plus.

D2D:
looking for a hardware testing engineer for a local client. This person is working from the Engineering Functional Design specifications, create Feature and System Level Test Plans to verify product quality. Additionally the candidate must be able to evaluate effort and create project schedule, staffing requirements, hardware and lab requirements, and test equipment requirements. Testing involves integrating multiple devices into a customer like environment.

Must be able to assume role of Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SW Features as well as provide support or training to less experienced testers.

Perform detailed design reviews of technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and customer documentation, and provide feedback to the author through review meetings and written feedback.

Perform testing on protocol, database, administration and maintenance related features in accordance with documented test plans. Provide test results back to team.

This job will involve working directly with software/hardware/firmware development personnel to deliver a high quality release. The ability to work productively with developers is critical to success in this job.
