Location:  Trenton, NJ

Duration: 12+ months

Rate: $55/hr C2C

 

Description:

Install new releases of DB2 and DB2 related software; Understanding of  relational DBMS, especially DB2; Ability to create logical and physical database designs; Analysis of functional user requirements to develop proper data normalization and conceptual data base designs for new projects; Monitor DB2 DASD storage pools and DB2 partitions; Calculation and allocation of DASD space; Knowledge of DB2 database utilities(Load/Unload, Image copy, Reorg, Restore,etc); Z/OS JCL batch execution; SQL coding knowledge ; Daily core-hour on-site presence and on-call availability during off hours.

 

Skills Needed:

IBM DB2 DBMS Required 10 years

DB2 Connect Required 10 years

IBM Z/OS Required 10 years

IBM Utilities Required 10 years

IBM JCL Required 10 years

TSO Required 10 years

CA Database Management Solutions for DB2 Z/OS Nice to have 5 years
