Senior Oracle Applications Developer

Qualifications:

 

A Bachelors or Master Degree in Computer Science or MIS related fields.

Requirements:

·         10+ Years of IT Experience

·         Minimum 7-10  years of Application Development and Analysis work experience

·         At least 5-7 years as a developer of PL/SQL programming

·         Minimum of seven years of work experience in a client server UNIX/AIX environment

·         Should have very clear understanding of RAC and Non-RAC Oracle Databases and Load balancing

·         Working experience with GoldenGate tool preferred

·         Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills

·         Very strong skills in Oracle database with architecting database solution and design, data modeling, data analysis, and developing tables, packages, stored procedures, functions, views, trigger, performance and tuning, etc..

·         String Understanding of Modeling for Parallelism of jobs and processes

·         Solid experience in Oracle Database PL-SQL, Unix Shell Script programming and design techniques 

·         Provide developers and DBAs with tuning recommendations for SQL and PL/SQL queries

·         Hands on experience with managing version control tools (SUBVERSION OR CLEARCASE OR PERFORCE) and monitoring tools like Control-M

·         Clear Understanding of Cron and Batch process and programming for job schedulers(e.g. Control-M).

·         Knowledge of version control and practices and procedures

·         Understanding of other technology skills is a plus, including Informatica ETL, J2EE a plus

·         Knowledge of Erwin R7 a Plus

·         Experience with overnight/batch processing with large data volumes a plus 

·         IT experience in Financial Industry plus

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
