Requirement Details:

Position: Programmer Analyst

Location: Raleigh NC

Duration:1 year

Our client is seeking to fill a short term contractor assignment for a short term programmer analysts to assist in NCTRACKS /MMIS DIRM EIS Legacy Conversion Effort.

The selected candidate will:
• Work with DIRM Eligibility Information System (EIS) making the changes required for conversion from current MMIS contractor to the new MMIS contractor
• Assist with the interface between the current EIS System and the NCFAST system and EIS System and NCTRACKS
• Be responsible for writing, testing, and debugging complex computer programs required for conversion and interfacing with the new MMIS contractors

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

Strong experience in the programming of application systems and in-depth knowledge of structured programming techniques & various software including:
• IMS, DB2, SQL, VSAM, TSO/MVS Z/OS, JCL, Cobol, CICS, Streamweaver
• Secure FTP ,Easytrieve Plus, CA Tools, and Project Management tools
• Must have mainframe technology experience
• Must have good problem solving skills
• Must be able to modify procedures to solve moderate to complex problems considering system constraints and limitations
• Must have strong communication skills to communicate with both technical and business clients
• Ability to produce technical procedures and documentation for programs changed and/or developed
• Must be able to work independently and manage timelines

Preferred:
• Experience in data transfer and interface methodologies between Mainframes, and Mainframe to Servers in a statewide environment.
• Previous experience in State Government
