Location: Frisco, TX
Duration: 6 months plus contract
Experience: Minimum 8 years
Position Description:
- SAP Basis Consultant (BC) facilitates the technical implementation, upgrades, and ongoing support of SAP products and processes to enhance the value that customers receive from their SAP solutions.
- The BC assumes an active role in the implementation process and creates value for TSNA's customers through the enhancement of the customers' business functionality and overall system performance.
- The BC will be committed to maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction in each of their accounts and growing and developing reference-able customers through their investigation, analysis, consulting, coaching, knowledge transfer and relationship building efforts
- Provides technical expertise, project planning, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to clients.
- Assists with the technical implementation aspects of all SAP Technology products and solutions
- Acts as a liaison for troubleshooting: investigates, analyzes and solves programming/software issues.
- Maintains one's own professional development; including continuous learning of new SAP products/technologies, and communicating experiences and solutions to fellow colleagues.
- Accurately maintains documentation of time and expense reports, along with additional administrative tasks.
- Providing mentoring/support to junior/inexperienced colleagues.
- Timeliness of time and expense reporting, Performance Management objective setting and assessment, IT asset confirmation requests, and all other company processes and procedures.
- Participation on and in team/management calls, virtual meetings, on-site meetings, and other team activities as defined by management.
- Aids in database administration, change management, system infrastructure, and performance tuning
- Supports clients with installations, modifications, and upgrades of SAP systems.
- Technical expertise in the Systems technology areas specified below. Customer Solutions
- Assume primary responsibility for solving customers' technical issues by providing technical expertise, project planning, guidance and instruction on SAP solutions
- Analyze customers' technical requirements and systems infrastructure and provide support in the areas of database administration, change management, performance tuning and overall SAP technology consulting assistance.
- Facilitate the creation of an achievable project plan (to include SAP Best Practices, as available) through proactive planning and the appropriate estimation of required tasks and resources.
- Support customers with programming, interfaces, installations, modifications and upgrades to meet and exceed their requirements, needs and objectives.
- Assist customers with issues involving workflow, communications, security management, desktop integration, and any other relevant SAP Technology product or solution
- Obtain customer buy-in throughout the project, by setting realistic expectations, planning ahead and identifying and addressing potential project roadblocks.
- Expertise with Monitoring Solutions
Education:
SAP Basis Administration for both ABAP and Java stacks in the areas of ECC, BW, CRM, SRM, SCM, PI, SLD, Portal Administration, SAP Solution Manager, OIM, IT Industry, ASAP Methodology, RSLF, DB Administration, OS Administration, Network Administration, Desktop Administration, Security Administration , Application Integration Standards for development, Change Management (Transports).
