Description: Lead/Sr .Net Developer

Location: MD

Duration: 12 Months

Minimum Experience/Knowledge/Skill:

Deep experience with web application information technology from 8+ years IT experience, including 6+ years ASP.Net and SQL Server web development.
Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including writing, reviewing, and identifying weaknesses in requirements, development, architecture, and testing plans.
Adept at installing, configuring, and administering servers.
Highly trustworthy and unquestioned ethics to be responsible for production systems involving financial transactions and sensitive data.
Able to innovate standards and procedures to improve efficiency and quality.
Hands-on team mentoring to develop junior staff into senior staff, to allow senior staff to increase responsibility, to encourage collaboration, and to inspire continuous quality improvement.
Expert understanding of VB and/or C# web development, including object oriented design.
Solid understanding of SQL Server design principles and practices for effective architecture and coding.
Solid understanding of network, application, and database design security.
Proficient at debugging, reviewing, and auditing processes, code, and designs.
Able to provide guidance and effective task assignment to team members analyzing and resolving complex problems.
Advanced skills in designing effective user interfaces.
Familiarity with debugging legacy applications and interfaces between mainframe and .Net technologies.
Experience with test-driven development.
Experienced with principles and techniques of agile project management.
Familiarity with development of web services and mobile applications.
Understanding of integration between Active Directory and application security.
Familiarity with current issues in internet and web security, development, and directions of future technology.
Experience using or administering Team Foundation Server.
Experience estimating the cost of developing and maintaining diverse long-term projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Adept at explaining highly technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with DotNetNuke a plus
Experience with Perl and PHP a plus
