Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the full life cycle development and deployment of web applications and web services.
.NET Application Development and strong knowledge of .NET fundamentals
Multi-threading, multiple layers, Agile and toolsets such as Telerik
Minimum 3-4 years JavaScript and AJAX; experience with SOA/cloud-based systems
Experienced with change control technologies such as SubVersion
Experienced with secure applications development
Experience with software design concepts
Object Oriented Design, Object Relational Mapping, UML Diagrams.

Additional Skills Desired:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. There may be interaction with employees at all levels such as executives, project managers, technology management, quality assurance, external development groups, and other internal clients.
Ability to work both independently and as part of team of developers required using the MSF Agile and XP Software Development Methodologies.
Experience working with offshore development teams.
Must be able to adhere to a production schedule defined in cooperation with management and other team members.
Willing to work on system modifications and new development.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software.
Exceptional time management skills.
Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team player with exceptional relationship management skills.
May coach and/or mentor more junior technical staff.

Description:

Responsibilities:

The position will perform support development tasks on a daily basis while also being responsible for project development tasks; will contribute to the creation of specifications and designs to develop complex and business critical software solutions.

Specifics:

Develop .NET web applications, web services and Windows services as per specifications or instruction, following and contributing to the creation of procedures and frameworks.
Works on varied and complex tasks, projects, or support issues that require in-depth skills in multiple technical environments, knowledge in one or more specific business areas and expertise in multiple products/systems.
Knowledge, utilization and enforcement of software implementation best practices.
Ability to write efficient, high performance code in a timely manner, working both independently and as part of a team of developers.
Passionate about building high-quality systems utilizing best practices while leading a team of developers.
Work closely with others in coordinating tasks and deliverables.
Provide daily and project support for database owners. Work and communicate with stakeholders and co-workers.
Resolve problems, working with other developers and support to quickly resolve issues.
Write stored procedures, triggers, SQL code and troubleshoot.
Ensure high availability, performance and security of production and development application environments.
Develop technical procedures, scripts and associated documentation to improve existing processes and participate with others to conceive and implement improvements.
