This Dallas-based industry leader has an immediate 12+ month contract opening for a Senior Java Developer to work in an Agile development environment. This position requires:
• 6+ years Back-End Java development experience.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Experience in Distributed Computing (ie. CORBA, Web Services, RMI, or EJB).
• Experience in Messaging/JMS. Prefer experience with MQ and/or Tibco.
• Experience in Java Spring.
• Experience in OO Analysis and Design.
• Experienced with Supporting/Debugging existing software.
• Experience working with Oracle relational databases.
• UML experience.
• Experience with Unix - Shell scripting, VI, utilities.
• Prefer experience with ClearCase.
• Prefer experience with Eclipse.
• Prefer experience with ANT.
• Experience with JDBC.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience working through the majority of the Systems Development Life Cycle phases.
Preferred:
• CORBA.
• Tivoli.
• Visio.
• Web Services.
• DB Visualizer.
• Maven.
