Title: Documentum / System Engineer

Location: New York City, NY(Locals)

Duration: 6+months

Interview Type: Phone + F2F

Duties and responsibilities

Assist in the administration and maintenance of content management systems (Xythos, Documentum and/or DotNetNuke) as well as server products and environments (Linux, Windows, SQL Server)
Assist in developing detailed implementation and rollout plans for the content management systems.
Collaborate with multiple individuals/teams to help establish standards and policies for content management systems.
Assist in the development of project plans detailing scope of work, objectives, identifying roles and responsibilities, work breakdown, deliverables and schedule.
Support the Systems Analysts to meet project objectives. Contact and cooperation with external vendors, partners or contractors may be required.
Be familiar with industry standards and best practices related to the Information Technology field (ITIL),particularly in the areas of operational support and change management.
Ensure that all service deliverables are achieved.
Work with Systems Analysts to perform unit and integration testing as well as User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Provide training to helpdesk and/or end users in the use of the content management systems.
Support other systems and perform other related duties as required by the service

Education and Skills

Graduation from university supplemented by training in IT
Excellent technical knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, Unix, etc)
Very good technical knowledge of Documentum and/or DotNetNuke
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
Related certifications are desirable.

Experience

At least five years experience in the administration of Linux and Windows Operating Systems
At least three years experience in the administration and maintenance of Documentum, and/or DotNetNuke
Experience in the administration and maintenance of web-based systems such as IIS; Apache, Tomcat, and/or JBoss is desirable
Experience with any of the following: Systems development life cycle methodology; Systems development best practices; Implementing of applications using LDAP, Active Directory, and Microsoft MS SQL Server database concepts.
Development or administration experience in JSP/Servlet based web applications in a J2EE environment is desired.
Understanding of load balancing, reverse proxy, and disaster recovery is desired.
