• Cognos 8.4 experience is a MUST.
• Very strong hands on experience in design and development of Cognos framework models.
• Very strong hands on experience with Cognos Query Studio, Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Cognos Viewer, Transformer, PowerPlay, Framework Manager and Cognos Connection,
• Experience in data modeling and maintenance of packages using Cognos Framework Manager.
• Experience in multi-dimensional modeling is preferred.
• Ability to transform business requirements into deliverables with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Proven abilities in creating complex reports by linking data from multiple data providers, using free hand SQL, stored procedures and functionality like Combined Queries.
• Very good knowledge of Oracle, SQL and PL/SQL
• Prior experience in implementing data level and report level security in BI Tools
• Experience in Cognos 10
• Experience in using Metric Designer and Metric Studio.
• Cognos Administration experience.
• Experience with package level security implementation.
• Able to analyze Cognos new releases and provide recommendation for upgrades.
