Exchange Engineer

Job Description:
We are looking for a MS Exchange Engineer that has very strong Exchange, AD and Lync experience. This position will focus on infrastructure design, delivery, and support for a large enterprise-level environment.
Requirements:
* Strong analytical skills ability to diagnose the interoperability of a diverse set of technologies such as Exchange 2010, Active Directory, Lync, Enterprise Vault.
* Strong system analysis, architecture, design and administration skills. The position breaks down as follows: 50% system engineering and administration, 35% infrastructure design and architecture practices, 15% Project-related tasks: working with support engineers, vendors and developers across teams.
* Very close to the technology design, configure and support messaging and communications products
* Strong knowledge of ITIL practices Configuration, Change and Release Management.
* Strong Infrastructure Management background Capacity planning, performance management and security.
Job Qualifications
* 7+ years experience supporting Microsoft Exchange.
* Extensive experience in design, maintenance and support of an Exchange infrastructure including performance, capacity, recovery technologies for DR and HA, and journaling for compliance.
* Knowledge of industry best practices related to email routing, filtering, monitoring, storage, backup and disaster recovery is required.
* Strong interpersonal skills and a proven record for attention to detail.
* A proven ability to interact successfully with clients, and maintain open communications at all times.
* Application Experience in Windows Server 2008, Exchange 2010, Active Directory, Iron Mail, Blackberry Enterprise Server, Lync, Symantec Enterprise Vault, Rightfax, Goodlink, and Boxtone.
* VMware experience is a plus.
* This individual will be primarily responsible for planning, architecture, implementation and support of our messaging and communications infrastructure for high availability, recoverability and reliability.
Key Activities -
* As a Lead Systems Engineer the candidate will have following responsibilities:
* Work on the architecture, design, implementation, deployment, and support of the messaging and communications infrastructure.
* Support the messaging and communications infrastructure as part of an on call rotation.
* Develop infrastructure standards, best practices and guidelines.
