Job Title:Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Reston VA
Term: Long Term (to be extended every 6 months)

Need Local to DC,VA AND MD.

Bill Rate: 60/hour either

Interview: Candidates must be local enough to drive onsite for interview with manager.

Required:
Lead experience looking at design and making solution suggestions; solid Customer Service Oriented

Client has an immediate need for an Infrastructure Engineer that has lead experience in the design and architecture of IT Infrastructure.
As an individual contributor, responsible for design, estimate, size infrastructure solutions for Application projects; this contract will be extended every 6 months and can even go permanent based on engineer's performance.                            

Collaborative responsibilities:
Coordination with Client Services for the development of valid business cases.
Coordination with Delivery Services for the design, build and production readiness of application solutions.
Coordination with Technical Services service lines to ensure implementation of best practices for infrastructure governance, architecture, engineering production support and service Management.

Additional responsibilities:
Ensures consistent delivery of superior technical solutions.
Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative technical solutions and strategies.
Continually defines ways to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.

Required Skills:                                       
More than 8-10 years professional experience and managerial experience in information technology.
Experience in championing change and effectively managing project/program implementation.
Expert knowledge of infrastructure engineering in one or more areas of Servers, Storage, OS, middleware, network, etc.
Infrastructure background in Linux, Solaris, Windows, Redhat and Middleware products.
BS degree in Computer Science
