NA Talent Management is developing a holistic development portal for all employees utilizing our internal Sharepoint technology along with our SumTotal Learning Management System (Education Express. A key goal of this project is to develop the next generation development resource. By architecting a platform of development roadmaps, resources and reporting the Development Portal will serve as the central location for all development activity. Today we have fragmented resources that are not easy to navigate to bring all the resources available to our end users. They are: SumTotal Learning Management System (LMS) - Currently available to all users and used to deploy and track formal development resources - we will expand this to include a variety of blended learning opportunities SharePoint Sites - Currently we have numerous sites available that provide development resources but they are not linked together and result in a fragmented experience for our end users. Eliminating overlap among all our development resources will:
o Increase development of our employee population by making resources more available and expand the guidance we provide via development roadmaps.
o Reduce redundancy in information being duplicated in several location and boost teamwork productivity. This position will be responsible for developing, and implementing the next generation Development Portal. This role will be instrumental in evaluating, recommending, and building the platform to meet business needs. Successful execution will require collaborations and interface with various teams across the organization and geographic regions. The position requires extensive experience, resourcefulness, and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and responsibilities is expected. This role will report to the Manager of Online Development and collaborate with other management on the team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong ability to influence and work across teams at all levels of the organization
Strategic thinker who is not afraid to dive into the details to get things done
Good project management skills with ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects under tight constraints
Ability to understand business needs and functional implementation in order to add value, drive results, and avoid pitfalls
Prior experience creating SharePoint and collaboration sites, with emphasis on the design and maintenance of dashboards
Ability to deliver difficult and/or sensitive information
Good understanding of and keen interest in digital media and online marketing trends
Experience in managing and launching web sites preferable
Familiar with a variety of the web and desktop technology concepts, practices, and procedures
Sharepoint 2010/13
Experience with SumTotal Learning Management system a plus
Technology Process Change Management knowledge a plus
