Job Title: Business Analyst with Travel Domain

Location: St. Centennial, CO

Duration: 6 Months+

Skills:

• Minimum of 7 years of Travel domain IT project experience involving either one or more than one Global Distribution System (GDS) like Galileo/Worldspan/Apollo/Amadeus/Sabre OR Online Travel Agency like Orbitz, Expedia, and Travelocity
• Must understand how the profile and policy is used in the corporate booking tool (at a high level)
• Should know basic GDS commands to book an itinerary
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience. Masters degree is preferred.
• Must be analytically very strong – ability to acquire substantial amount of business functionality and be productive in a few weeks time..
• Must possess basic XML, Web services and APIs knowledge.
• Location has to be Centennial, CO and candidate should be willing to relocate to Colorado
• Ability to manage and mentor the team of business analysts
• Experience with Requirements management and Defect tracking tools like Quality Center
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communications skills
• Strong ability to facilitate discussions, negotiate and build consensus
• Establish and maintain strong relationships in the product, operational and technical teams
• Proven ability to prepare and deliver presentations to all levels of the organization
• Applied knowledge of various SDLC methodologies such as Agile, rapid and iterative development
• Proven ability to learn and apply new methods/skills
• Ability to mentor and analyze the work of less experienced staff
• Pace setter with extensive research skills; excellent attention to detail; creative thinker. Possess keen analytical ability to identify and define the key issues in complex situations
• Ability to prioritize tasks/objectives with strong organizational, administrative and analytical skills
• Proactive- seeks out information and solutions
