Mainframe Lead
Rate - $50/HR
Location: Detroit
Duration - 9+ months with the option to extend
Minimum 3-5 years related experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
Required Skills/Experience:
3 - 5 years relevant project/program leadership experience
3 - 5 years technical experience in software development
Experience with large enterprise projects, preferably associated with the health insurance industry
Understanding of healthcare payer claims, billing and associated systems
Understands and can discuss healthcare trends and concepts in detail
Demonstrated strong leadership skills
Proficient in formal project management methodologies
Excellent understanding of risk management / mitigation
High proficiency (expert-level) in the use of MS-Project
Able to effectively interact with program sponsor, business client, and the IT division resources.
Knowledge and experience of the Project Management Institutes standards and terminology.
Strong requirements management and scope containment skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and conflict resolution skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experienced in developing and delivering presentations at executive levels
Preferred Skills/Experience:
-JAVA and Oracle skills
Mainframe experience
