Solid knowledge of a compiled Object Oriented language, either Java or C++

Previous experience with multithreading and real-time systems

Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures

Basic Unix/Linux knowledge

Knowledge of shell (ksh) scripting or a higher level scripting language (perl, python)

Basic or better knowledge of relational DB concepts, SQL

Financial Front Office experience
