Position: MicroStrategy Developer
Location: St. Louis, MO
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Start Date: ASAP

Rate: $55/hr on C2C

 

*** Need US Citizen's or GC only ***

 

Responsibilities:
Design and develop complex reports and dashboards to meet the business needs. 
Architect schema objects, build grids, graphs, standard reports and dashboards. 
Create and/or enhance report objects, metrics, filters, and prompts as needed. 
Collaborate with business partners to define requirements and reporting specifications and provide technical assistance. 
Troubleshoot and analyze data issues within reports. 
Work with the ETL team to understand data sources and propose data warehouse designs to support reporting needs.
Work with MSTR Admin team to help administer and deploy reporting objects across the different MSTR environments. 
Deliver required supporting documentation as needed. 
This includes and is not limited to technical design documents and object promotion documents. 
Performance tune reports as needed, validate report SQL and implement BI best practices to ensure optimal end-user experience.

 

Required Skills:
BS degree in Computer Science or related field,
5+ years' experience designing and developing MicroStrategy reports and solutions. 
Experience using MicroStrategy v9.0 or higher strongly preferred. 
Strong SQL skills, knowledge of OLAP methodologies and relational databases such as Oracle and SQL server. 
Strong analytical and communication skills US Citizen or resident.
