-- Position Title: SAP APO
Location: Ashburn - VA
Duration: 6+ Months
• Strong hands on configuration experience in SAP APO with business process knowledge and at least 2 full lifecycle implementations
• Specific knowledge of Hands-on configuration DP, SNP modules, CIF and Transportation lane etc. in technical configuration, development. Testing and implementation.
• Bridges between the business team and the development team to ensure functional requirements are understood and ensure development requirements integrated
• Experienced in supporting APO daily operation by monitoring the jobs, trouble shooting the issues to identify the root causes and able to resolve the issues.
• Use the business process requirements to detail application requirements, solution design, adherence to SAP best practice, and metrics
• Understand ABAP code and BAPI's function modules; transaction assignment in supporting daily business operation is a must.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP ECC master data and transaction data to support APO DP, BI, SNP, and CIF solution.
• Demonstrated strong troubleshooting skills to be able to identify and fix bugs that arise in unit test, system integration test, user acceptance test. Experience in creation of test cases for system integration test and user acceptance test using the business process documentation and user inputs.
Codes, tests, debugs, documents, and installs new applications and programs
- Uses coding methods in specific programming languages to initiate or enhance program execution and functionality
- Monitor program execution for expected performance
- Respond to errors and emergencies within applications and programs
- Provide first-tier support to end users for IT applications
- Perform installation of code releases and patches and write scripts or programs for IT applications
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of databases and systems
- Complete the necessary documentation for business cases, process, analysis, functional requirements, and testing as needed
- Facilitate planning and functional design sessions to support requirements and business solutions
- 4 year degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- 2 to 4+ years of Technical Support experience
- Experience in Wintel environment Knowledge in at least one of the following areas: mobility, telephony, networking.
