Position : Infrastructure Lead
Location : Cary, NC
Duration : 6+ Months
Required Skills
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a similar role with total 8-10 years of experience.
• Knowledge of Unix, Windows, Databases (Oracle, SQL), Networks, Backups, Virtualization and Storage Area Network
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Knowledge of ITIL
• Process Improvement

• Planning
• Ability to monitor and interpret project status and identify issues
Role Overview
• Manage complex IT infrastructure projects and issues.
• Coordinates and implement end-to-end infrastructure delivery by working with all stakeholders. This would include working with upstream and downstream applications for integration testing, product support, production deployment, etc.
• Act as the main contact to engage and manage all required internal and external resources to effectively troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
• Manage weekly infrastructure meetings and send status updates to stake holders.
• Manage infrastructure capacity, stability and performance issues. Define and drive stability and capacity improvement initiatives through the application/production teams and vendors.
• Provide technical support to resolve critical infrastructure issues ensuring successful system backup and restoration
• Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; managing infra budgets and reducing infrastructure cost.
• Manage onshore and offshore vendor infrastructure resources.
