Title: Sr. Informatica Developer
Location: Houston | TX
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 3-6 Months
Responsibilities:
Experience using at least one programming language (JAVA, Visual Basic, C++, Pascal, etc.)
Familiarity with SQL language queries
Familiarity with basic database concepts
Experience creating ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter (main ETL tool)
Experience conducting unit testing of their developed code
Oracle database experience
Good communication
Plusses
Expert knowledge of SQL, especially PL/SQL, is a plus
Knowledge and experience with data manipulation tools is a plus
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.
Creates automated reports using Business Objects
Creates queries, triggers, and stored procedures using Oracle PL/SQL
Day-to-Day
On a daily basis this person will be interacting frequently with Architects, Project Managers, and other team members. They will be diagnosing and correcting problems within the databases and data warehouses. They will be creating documentation in accordance with established processes and policies. They will be developing and working with the architect with the ETL tools. The position will be 100% new development, modification, and enhancement work.
