Title: IBM Websphere Portal and Java Developer
Location: Northern NJ
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6+ Months
Responsibilities:
Core technologies & Skillsets
· A minimum of 6 years of production experience in software development in a Linux\Windows, Java/J2EE environment hosting both Websphere application server and Websphere Portal server.
· Production experience in Portal design, development, configuration, optimization, administration, support work; including, inter-Portlet communication.
· Strong web application server side and middleware development experience delivering Java/J2EE applications using technologies Seam, Struts, Hibernate, JDBC, Servlets, JSP, EJB, RMI, JMS, JSF, IceFaces, and RichFaces
· 4+ years developing JSR 168/286 Portlets
· 2+ years developing with Web Services and RESTful API and have a working knowledge of J2EE concepts.
· Proficiency creating portal IBM Web Content Mngmt (WCM) components
· Proficiency with IBM Search Server technologies
· Proficiency with portal themes and skins
· Solid understanding of SQL and familiarity with relational database (Oracle, DB2, SQLServer)
· Proficiency with Java Message Service (JMS) and Enterprise Service Bus(ESB)
· Excellent debugging skills
· Experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) design & development
· Familiar with performance tuning
· Familiar with Single Sign On and SAML
· familiar with TIBCO or other Service Bus Technologies
· Experience in developing with the IBM Websphere Portlet Factory and familiar with the Eclipse IDE
Optional
· Sun Java Developer Certification preferred
· IBM Certified Portal Developer
· Exposure to IBM Lotus Notes/Domino
· Exposure to Novell identity and access manager products
